My Own Custom Bop It Concepts!
My Own Custom Bop It Concepts!
Over the last five years of being on YouTube, I have gotten creative and made my own custom Bop It concepts, as well as my own Test Modes with Revision Numbers, and even custom box art as well! This page shows a few of my favorite concepts I have created.
Note: Some of these videos have my deadname in them. Please DO NOT call me by that name. My name is either Katherine or Kat. Nothing else!

Connectable Bop It
One of the earliest concepts I made on video was a connectable Bop It that I made a mockup out of plywood (my dad helped me cut it out). I never did have a name for it. It had the ability to separate into two halves—one half having Bop It, Twist It, and Pull It, and the other half Bop It, Spin It, and Flick It. The halves would connect in the middle at the Bop It buttons. This was back when my YouTube channel was in its earliest days as “Bopitmaster8”. This was also about 5 months before I met Bop It Inventor, Dan Klitsner.
2021
Bop It! Tetris: The Videogame!
I made an 8-bit stop-motion animation video of Bop It Tetris a while back. It was pretty interesting. It was also super easy to do because all I had to do was fill in squares anyway to make the art. I also used a little bit of green-screen as well.
Bop It! SpongeBob SquarePants: Gary Edition
I started making my own Test Modes in late 2021, and the first one I ever created was one of Gary the Snail from SpongeBob SquarePants. I used sounds from Gary from SpongeBob episodes, and I used the voice of the French Narrator.
Bop It! Pokémon: Pikachu Edition
Shortly after making the Bop It Gary Test Mode, I went ahead and made one of Pikachu from Pokémon, using the sounds from Pikachu and the voice of Ash Ketchum. I still want a Pikachu Bop It to be a thing today!
2022
BopSwap
This video doesn’t seem to get that much attention. In fact, it’s almost completely forgotten at this point. In 2022, I made a concept for a video game called BopSwap that is similar to the match-3 puzzle game, Bejeweled. I took mechanics of classic Bejeweled and its spinoff, Bejeweled Twist (2008), to make a Bop It themed puzzle game where a player must match 3 or more colored music notes together. Matching 4 of a certain color note gives the player a special powerup based on that color Bopject. Each powerup has a special trick to mix up the board and keep things interesting during gameplay. I never created a mockup of the game, but I did make instructions on how to play.
2023
Bopitology
In 2023, I made a stop-motion animation of a video game that combines the mechanics of Tetris and Dr. Mario. You had to use a Bop It Blast as the game controller and match Bop It games up and clear lines to eliminate all the Bop It Buttons on screen.
Bop It! Inventor Edition
In honor of Bop It Inventor, Dan Klitsner’s birthday on September 27, 2023 (day after mine!) I made a character Bop It concept video and Test Mode out of him! I used AI to generate lines for Dan’s voice in this concept.
2024
XBOP Game Console
After making the Bopitology game, I thought about the possibility on if a Bop It Extreme could be a video game controller. And thus, the XBOP concept was created. I had created a video back in 2022 to cover one way to use the Bop It Extreme to play bowling on a video game.
Bop It Extreme 2 Revamp
I had made several videos, including a physical mockup, of a Bop It Extreme 2 revamp, since the classic Bop It got revamped in 2019 after the original in 1997, and the Bop It Extreme in 2022 after the original in 1999. I had made gameplay edits, a Test Mode, and even a commercial jingle that never made it into a concept commercial. Many viewers of the Bop Diva YouTube channel genuinely want this to be a thing.
Bop It! Hatsune Miku Edition
I had made several videos of a Hatsune Miku character Bop It. I have created multiple Test Mode videos, some in several different languages, as well as box art. This project is still being worked on. There are a few bugs to work out, and I am not sure if it will get finished or not…
Bop It! Katherine Edition
After seeing a TikTok of Dan Klitsner creating a character out of a 3D printed mold, I decided to give it a try myself, and I made a Bop It out of myself! There are several videos of this as well.
Bop It Wrist Accessory
I made a 3D model of a little cup that was able to fit the World’s Smallest Bop It inside for the ability to play the World’s Smallest Bop It on your wrist! This original invention was made by yours truly, and inspired by the ultra-rare Bop It Extreme Game Watch from 2002! The final model was 2.375 inches (60.325 mm) in diameter, and 1 inch (25.4 mm) tall. Three models were given away in black during a contest that occurred in Fall 2024 on the Bop Diva YouTube channel, and three others were sent to some close friends of mine in a ‘holographic’ color scheme! This even has the Bop Diva logo embossed inside of it, and it is worn on one’s wrist using Velcro. Also, only the few of these were made, as these were exclusively for the giveaway. It is undetermined on if these will ever appear on the Bop Diva channel again, or if further improvements will be made on these accessories.

Bop It! KENNETH!!!: The Damn Horse Edition
I met a guy named Kenneth when I first started my YouTube channel in February 2020. Since 2021, there was an inside joke between me and my friends about Kenneth’s dad being called “Daddy Big Show” and Kenneth “scrubbing the damn horses” because he is located in Texas. So, for Kenneth’s 25th birthday on February 22, 2025, I made a Bop It concept of The Damn Horse, and voiced Daddy Big Show myself in the Test Mode!
